The AI mode selector has been redesigned with a new look and new names. Fast mode is now Lite; Expert mode is now Max. The redesigned selector makes it easier to understand what each mode offers at a glance.
Max mode is now available to Pro and Team plan organizations on standard credits, bringing the more powerful model tier to more teams without requiring an add-on.
Max mode also now runs on Claude Opus 5, Anthropic's newest model. The upgrade is automatic — nothing to change in your settings.
