Question, short answer, matching, ranking, sorting, and feedback tiles now have an Optional switch. Learners can skip an optional tile and still complete the lesson, whatever its completion criteria and even with Require Interactives turned on.
An optional question never counts toward the score: turning Optional on sets the tile to practice. Existing tiles stay required until you change them. Question banks don't have the switch.
